Lemur Habitat

Lemurs live in trees which is why they are called arboreal. There are some large species of Lemurs though that also spend time on the ground.

One of the medium sized primates is the Golden-Crowned Sifaka Lemur. They are very limited in number and location.

The Indri Lemur is also called the Babakoto in many regions. This is one of the largest Lemurs found in the world.
